When creating EDM alternative songs, we usually borrow a hook, a riff or a signature drum roll from popular alternative rock songs and modify them to become our own. By altering a single note or changing its pitch, the borrowed riff or hook becomes a totally original piece. Our resident DJ will then work on the dancey-aspects of the song and an EDM alternative song is born.
